About Us
Parma Rishel has been dancing since the age of five. She has a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She completed two foci in her Master’s Degree: Nursing Education and Clinical Nurse Specialist.
At age 16, her first job was teaching young children to swim at the Irving, TX YMCA. She’s continued to find opportunities to integrate her love of being a nurse and teaching.
In August 2005, Parma started teaching ballet at Ballet Theatre School. Later, in March 2018 she opened Dance for Joy Dancewear to meet the dancewear needs of our coast dancers.
Parma’s passion lies in sharing her joy for dance with others.
My job starts with understanding your individual needs. This allows me to provide the right dancewear for you and/or your dancer.
